Suspects of Soul was created to fill a need for great music at a time when none was available. Brought together by a mutual understanding of how to successfully play a room, Suspects of Soul fearlessly gathered on stage for the first time without a rehearsal knowing there was no musical challenge that could not be met. On that night in September, 2011 Herman Wilson, Jason Stewart, Stacy Starkweather and Marc Carmi Smith became Suspects of Soul.

Newest album “Suspicious Characters” reached #1 on Amazon for Contemporary R&B category shortly after its release in Feb 2017.
